TheInfant Child and Youth Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (ICYAMHWS) at Alfred Health is a community-based service that provides comprehensive assessment treatment and case management to infants children adolescents and young people up to the age of 25 years of age presenting with behavioural emotional psychiatric or developmental difficulties.
The Neurodevelopmental stream works with children and young people from 3 26 years old and it incorporates the neuropsychiatry clinic the Developmental Assessment and Management Program (DAMP) and Mental Health & Intellectual Disability Initiative for youth (MHIDI-Y). This position sits within the Developmental Assessment and Management Program (DAMP) which is part of the Neurodevelopmental Stream.
Position Summary
This position sits within the Developmental Assessment and Management Program (DAMP) which is part of the Neurodevelopmental Stream.
The incumbent will work with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to the developmental assessment subsequent formulation and provide case management and therapeutic support to the child/young person from a family inclusive approach.
Days of work: Monday & Tuesday (essential) third day is negotiable.
