DESCRIPTION
- Looking for a Surgical Services or Acute Services Service line Directors for this role or a similar CNO background.
- The ideal candidate for this role will either have Surgical Services Hospital Management experience.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Develops and tracks key outcomes to measure performance
- Assure regulatory compliance with Joint Commission federal and state regulatory agencies
- Maintain department budget for capital expenses and revenues
- Monitors and explains variances
- Identifies and implements ways to decrease costs and improve productivity
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelors degree in related field preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education with a plan to obtain a high level of degree.
- Current California Registered Nursing License.
- Masters degree in healthcare management or nursing preferred.
- ACLS Certificate preferred
- BLS Certificate
- Minimum five (5) years of prior experience in patient care service
- Three years of quality management experience preferred
