Join our innovative Fashion Technology team at Amazon where youll transform the online shopping experience through AI-powered solutions that help millions of customers discover and shop for fashion items intuitively.
About the Team We are building the next generation of fashion retail technology focusing on making every inspiring image shoppable on Amazon stores. Our team develops ML-powered solutions that transform visual content into interactive shopping experiences helping customers discover products when traditional search methods fall short.
A Day in the Life Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance our Shoppable Images feature working on both frontend and backend systems. Youll participate in technical design discussions write code and implement solutions that directly impact how customers discover and shop for fashion items.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software solutions for both frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate with product managers to implement customer-facing features
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern web technologies
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with AngularJS or similar frontend frameworks
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications
- Experience with cloud services and distributed computing
- Understanding of e-commerce systems and customer experience optimization
- 3 years of engineering team management experience
- 7 years of engineering experience
- 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
