Job Description

Kerman Contracting is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Head Office team. This role will see you coordinating all technical activities on assigned projects and participate in planning scheduling conducting and coordinating Non-Process Infrastructure projects.

Your Roles Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing designs drawings plans specifications schedules and reports for projects engineered systems technical equipment or components.
  • Work with other disciplines to provide compliance with the contract requirements.
  • Review drawings to ensure compliance with clients specifications and proactively address design issues.
  • Collaborate with clients suppliers consultants and contractors to resolve technical queries.
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholdersto ensure activities are streamlined and kept to schedule.
  • Assistwith estimating scoping and preparing variation quotations.
  • Prepare project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Perform other organisational duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements.
  • Take responsibility for your safety uphold the Company WHSE policies and participate in Company WHSE initiatives.

About you:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3 years experience in the Construction industry.
  • Autocad or familiarity with various drawings softwares would be an advantage.
  • Experience in working with multiple discipline projects.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
  • Registered Engineer or Technician is preferred.
