The Field Service Liaison serves as liaison to obtain and disseminate information between schools Service Center Texas Education Agency and other duties to clarify and address questions arising at the local district level
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree preferred
- Administrator Certification preferred
Knowledge/Skills:
Essential Functions:
- Establish an effective communications linkage with district superintendents andother district personnel state and federal agencies.
- Facilitate communication between TDEM/FEMA and the districts; assist districts with internal auditquestions assist districts in preparing for FEMA audits; and expedite reimbursements to districts; and closeout.
- Review Project Worksheets for districts identifying any needed additions or revisions; assistappropriate district staff with processing and submission of Project Worksheets and documentation.
- Assist districts with RFP development; assist districts with clarification of procurement laws; andevaluation of contracts with vendors to ensure that the district receive best value.
- Evaluate facilities damage and Project Worksheets to identify any additional potential damage thatneeds to be a part of claims.
- Provide consultation on facilities evaluation; consultation on creation and evaluation of ProjectWorksheets; consultation on evaluation of construction bids and proposals.
- Develop professional skills appropriate to job assignment.
- Demonstrate behavior that is professional ethical and responsible.
- Manage project budgets efficiently.
- Compile maintain and file all records and other required documents.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state laws State Board ofEducation rule and ESC board policy and procedures.
- Articulate and support the Center mission and instructional philosophy.
