Join Cenovus Energy as a Leaves Management Advisor where youll play a vital role in ensuring our employee and retiree leave processes run efficiently. As a HR professional you will work in a fast-paced environment and tackle ambitious challenges while providing support and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.

What youll do:
Manage employee leave processes including short- and long-term disability FMLA and parental leave ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Serve as the primary contact for employees and leaders regarding leave coordination policy adherence and paid/unpaid leave guidance.
Collaborate with Payroll to provide accurate Advice to Pay based on regional policies and collective bargaining agreements.
Maintain and update employee health welfare and retirement data across multiple platforms including Premium Reimbursement Accounts (PRA) for retirees.
Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to leave and benefits delivery models.
Prepare and reconcile monthly/quarterly invoices wire transfers for medical and workers compensation claims and retiree medical payments.
Generate and distribute regular absence reports graphs and compliance documentation support audits and qualifying event requests.
Perform other duties as required
Who you are:
Legally authorized to work in the US.
Minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or equivalent experience.
Five plus years of HR experience with proven knowledge of leave compliance and HR Systems.
Excellent organizational and planning skills to meet schedules and deadlines.
A high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Ability to work in a team environment and network with people from various fields.
