The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an accomplished Physiatrist with leadership skills to oversee and expand their Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (PM&R SCI/D) program across three major hospitals and affiliated outpatient clinics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to both clinical and administrative leadership in a growing and dynamic healthcare system. The ideal candidate will also engage with residents fellows and medical students in one of the largest PM&R training programs in the country.
Key Highlights:
Location: Based at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas this role involves work across Clements University Hospital Parkland Hospital THD-Presbyterian Hospital and affiliated outpatient clinics.
Role Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive clinical care for both inpatients and outpatients
Teach medical students PM&R residents and fellows
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and research
Lead the development of the PM&R Spinal Cord Injury and Disorder (PM&R SCI/D) program
Research Environment: Collaborate with basic science and clinical teams to support interdisciplinary research with ample resources for biostatistical administrative and logistical support.

Education: MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
Board Certification: ABPMR Board certified or eligible

This is a leadership role suited for a highly motivated physiatrist with the ability to drive program development while maintaining a focus on clinical excellence and education. Demonstrated Experience traumatic spinal cord injury would be highly beneficial.
