The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center ranked No. 1 hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and No. 2 hospital in Texas by U.S. News and World Report is seeking an energetic and Nuclear Medicine Physician. The ideal candidate will be board-certified by ABNM and/or ABR with Nuclear Radiology subspecialty Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ); and be an Authorized User of radioisotopes. The Nuclear Medicine Division headed by Dr. Orhan Oz provides services at Parkland Memorial Hospital Clements University Hospital and their affiliated outpatient clinics. Candidate will have the opportunity to work with residents fellows and medical students in one of the largest radiology training programs in the U.S. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Divisional Duties:
Supervising and interprets examinations including General Nuclear Medicine PET/CT SPECT/CT nuclear cardiology and DEXA
Providing consultation to referring physicians
Academic time for the ACGMEaccredited Nuclear Medicine residency program PET/CT fellowship program integrated ABR/ABNM training program for dual certification.

The candidate must meet the following requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent
Completed a minimum of 1 year of fellowship training
ABR Board certified/eligible
Eligible for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment
