Job Description
Salary (Non-negotiable)
$59592 - $80828 with benefits package (Based on verifiable experience in field)
Paygrade 14
Hours
40 hours 12 months 260 days
Contract Unit: This position is part of the supervisory support services bargaining unit
FLSA: Exempt
General Functions:
- Oversees planning organizing coordinating and directing maintenance activities across multiple sites.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in facility maintenance or related field with five (5) years of experience is preferred. Ten (10) years of directly related experience may be substituted for a degree if applicable.
- Understand mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC and safety practices.
- Must obtain a Maryland Pesticide Applicators License within twelve (12) months of hire.
- Must hold a valid drivers license.
- Must provide a cell phone (stipend provided).
Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly work schedules and supervise foremen.
- Prioritize and schedule general maintenance repair and preventative work orders.
- Coordinate with schools contractors and internal departments.
- Monitor the status and progress of scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive work orders.
- Oversee Roof Asset Management Program (RAMP) and related reporting.
- Assist Maintenance Environmental/Project Manager with regulatory inspections and reporting.
- Handle inspections emergency responses and regulatory compliance.
- Develop training programs and conduct performance reviews.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Maintain accurate records on staff hours supplies and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with annual IAC maintenance inspections and reporting.
- Coordinate with departments to include Planning Construction Risk Management and Food Services.
