Required:
- Bachelors Degree in relevant field and 4 years of relevant design experience OR equivalent combination of education and applicable experience
- Ability to read construction plans and other construction documents
- CAD design experience with substantial experience in Building Information Models (BIM) and construction documents using various BIM related software
- Ability to manage projects effectively and efficiently.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as the ability to problem solve multitask prioritize and work independently
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3DMax/Sketchup VR experience
- Bachelors degree in industrial design
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Collaborate on commercial kitchen design projects including programming client needs conceptual and schematic design design development construction documents and management of budgets and schedules.
- Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents.
- Provide extensive design development at a schematic level
- Participate in selection of kitchen systems and specifications; specify preferred vendors wherever possible.
- Create and present schematic design presentations to clients
- Provide project team coordination for finish plans specifications and material selections required for construction.
- Review Construction documents and coordinate any required revisions with outside consultants.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and post-construction punch list meetings.
- Work with consultants equipment manufacturers product reps and fabricators to meet overall project objectives.
- Prioritize and communicate project schedules and design objectives.
- Assist in managing client expectations team communication and consultant coordination.
- Collaborate with Sales Reps Project Managers and General Contractors to ensure that projects are completed accurately within budget and on time.
- Participate with Sales in business development and marketing efforts.
