Job Description
Job Summary:We are looking for a detail oriented and experienced ETL Tester to join our data engineering or QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating testing and ensuring the integrity of data as it moves through the ETL (Extract Transform Load) pipeline. You will work closely with data engineers BI developers and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and Responsibilities:Analyze business and technical requirements to design test strategies for ETL execute and maintain test cases for ETL workflows and data data validation reconciliation and transformation testing between source and target SQL to write complex queries for data verification and data profiling to understand data quality ETL testing wherever possible using available tools or closely with developers to identify and resolve test plans test results and defect logs clearly and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production validation as Skills & Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.3 years of experience in ETL testing or data quality in writing SQL queries to validate large datasets. Experience with ETL tools like Informatica Talend SSIS or with database systems such as Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL or of data warehousing concepts and data with data validation data profiling and reconciliation with defect tracking tools like JIRA Bugzilla Skills:Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g. Selenium Apache JMeter Python scripting). Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS Redshift Google BigQuery Azure Synapse).Familiarity with version control systems like working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving communication and collaboration attention to detail and commitment to quality
