ROLE: Senior Wintel Infrastructure Project Engineer

The successful candidate will join a highly skilled team of infrastructure engineers providing technical infrastructure design and implementation to central and regional UK Secure Accounts. The role will require a flexible working ethic and a pragmatic approach to IT Cloud and Platform Project Delivery.
Successful candidates will have a design implementation and support background great customer service and communication skills. They will have a keen interest in innovation alongside a willingness to implement new ways of working and automation.
Description of Role
Provide expert troubleshooting for multi forest Active Directory service issues (DFS DNS WINS LDAP etc)
Promote and demote domain controllers
Support AD name resolution technologies (DNS WINS DHCP Infoblox)
Implement AD security methodologies (JEA JIT Delegation models and Tiered Admin model etc)
Perform AD schema extensions
Create PowerShell scripts
Support Azure AD AAD-DS and other Azure technologies
IDAM project delivery & process design
Simplification of complex IDAM processes & tools
Maintaining security standards and high availability of AD architecture
Design and review any required changes to Active Directory with a specific focus on structure delegation models tiering and management.
Education and Experience required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience. May hold professional or intermediate-level certification(s) in work field. Typically 10 years of relevant experience.
Candidates should possess at least Disclosure Scotland / BPSS clearance or be willing to undertake appropriate security vetting.
You will need to hold DV clearance as a minimum

Citrix deployments incorporating PVSMCS
APP-v incorporating Citrix StoreFront
MBAM/BitLocker/VPN
Desirable skills and knowledge/certifications
- Any Microsoft / Citrix / VMWare certification
- Wider understanding of client or midrange OSes networking and security
- Powershell scripting
- McAfee ePO
- Hyper V
- HP BladeSystem or similar blade servers / blade chassis and interconnect technologies
- HP Cloud Service Automation or similar self-service cloud management technology
- HP Server Automation or similar system configuration / software deployment technology
- Symantec Datacentre Security or similar security policy enforcement product
