Qualifications of an ideal Activities Director:
- Valid Drivers License in the State of Residency
- Combination of education and/or experience working with Seniors
- 2-3 years of experience in Senior Living as an Activities/Life Engagement Director
Activities Director Job Summary:
Activities Director is responsible for implementing programs to promote all areas of wellness including physical emotional mental and spiritual well-being.
- Plan promote implement coordinate and evaluate activities in all levels of care.
- Supervise schedule and evaluate Activity Assistants during scheduled events
- Develop post and maintain a monthly schedule and newsletter in a timely manner to residents
- Ensure timely safe secure and dependable transportation services for residents
