Your Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Associate to join our Corporate Development team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the firms inorganic growth initiatives including M&A joint ventures strategic investments and partnerships. This position offers significant exposure to senior leadership cross-functional collaboration and the opportunity to work on high-impact transactions that shape the future of a market-leading asset management business. You Will Be Responsible For:
Support the identification evaluation and execution of mergers acquisitions divestitures strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
Work hand-in-hand with Corporate Strategy to conduct market research competitive benchmarking and financial analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
Build detailed financial models including valuation (DCF precedent transactions trading comps) synergy analyses and accretion/dilution modeling.
Prepare and present executive-level materials including deal memos transaction and partnership presentations and board updates.
Partner with internal stakeholders across strategy legal finance product distribution operations and compliance to support due diligence and integration planning.
Provide guidance and oversight to external advisors (bankers lawyers consultants etc.) as needed on transactions.
Track and analyze industry trends M&A activity and strategic opportunities in the asset management and broader financial services sectors.
Take full ownership of deal processes end to end.
The Experience You Bring:
2-5 years of experience in investment banking private equity corporate development or a related field; asset or wealth management experience preferred.
Bachelors degree; MBACFA or CPA designation a plus but not required
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
High degree of professionalism intellectual curiosity and business judgment.
Team player willing to contribute to all aspects of corporate development.
The base salary range in NYC is mid to upper $100s. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills and experience.

As a full-time employee compliance with the workplace policy means working with your direct manager to create a schedule where you will work in your designated office at least three days a week with two days working outside an Invesco office.
