LPN or CNA/M Accepted
CNAs must hold a State of Maine Med Tech certification AND a CNA certification
CNA/Ms will recieve a $50/hr All Inclusive Bill Rate.
Local Candidates will receive a lower local rate.
Position Summary: The Certified Medical Technician (CMT) is a C.N.A/M or LPN who is responsible
for the medication administration of the assigned nursing unit (long term care
or skilled care) as well as performing all the essential job functions of a
Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A). Although the C.N.A/M is responsible
for the accurate administration of medications these responsibilities may be
delegated in whole or in part to other members of the staff as directed by the
nursing administration. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing
and follows standard nursing procedures and facility policies for administering
medication.
