Job Description
This position is for a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The technologist will perform computed tomography (CT) scans adhering to established protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The role requires proficiency in operating CT equipment interacting effectively with patients and healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate records. Floating to a nearby facility may be required.
- Preparing patients for scans explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
- Operating and maintaining CT equipment.
- Processing and reviewing CT images for quality assurance.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Assisting with other imaging modalities as needed.
- May be required to float to a nearby facility.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Minimum of one year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling may be possible per manager discretion.
- Floating to Providence Mission Laguna may be required.
- Free parking.
- Rotating weekend shifts.
