Job Description
This role is for a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The technologist will perform computed tomography (CT) scans adhering to established protocols and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The position requires proficiency in CT scanning techniques patient interaction and adherence to safety regulations. The position may require floating to a different facility within the same hospital system.
- Preparing patients for scans explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
- Maintaining and operating CT scanning equipment.
- Processing and reviewing scan images for quality assurance.
- Adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
- Potentially floating to a different facility within the same hospital system.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience (first-timers accepted).
- No on-call requirements.
- Block scheduling may be possible at the managers discretion.
- Potential for cross-coverage at Providence Mission Laguna.

- Rotating weekend shifts.
- Shift assignments determined by management.
