Job Summary:
This role is for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in a medical-surgical unit requiring a minimum of two years of recent acute care experience. The CNA will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting with activities of daily living collecting patient data and performing various clinical procedures. The position necessitates mandatory floating between facilities and requires working every other weekend.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including ambulation hygiene feeding and positioning.
- Collect patient data such as vital signs weights and specimens.
- Perform clinical procedures such as incentive spirometry pulse oximetry and blood sugar checks (under supervision).
- Assist with patient transport and preparation for diagnostic tests.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Document patient care accurately.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering phones and coordinating supplies.
- Float to other facilities as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider CPR certification.
- Minimum two years of recent acute care experience in medical-surgical settings.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Special Considerations:
- Mandatory floating between facilities.
- Every other weekend work requirement (2 weekends per month).
- Maximum 5 days of requested time off (RTO) with no more than 2 consecutive days. No RTO on weekends or holidays or the day before or after a holiday.
- Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
- 3x12 hour shifts 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
Scheduling:
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM).
- Every other weekend rotation.
- No block scheduling.
