Job Description
We are hiring a Therapist II (SLP/Aud) for one of our clients in New Lisbon NJ.
Job Description:
- Plan direct and conduct therapy programs designed to restore or improve communication efficiency.
- Diagnose evaluate and treat language and speech impairments.
- Provide referrals to medical specialists when needed.
- Provide counseling and guidance to clients.
- Write objectives evaluations and progress reports.
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Education and/or Experience:
- 4 years experience in applying the theory principles and techniques of speech-language therapy or audiology.
- Must be able to lift move and position clients as needed.
- Experience diagnosing evaluating and treating language and speech impairments.
Mandatory Skills/Certification(s) Requirement:
- Current and valid license as a Speech Pathologist/Audiologist issued by the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Advisory Committee Division of Consumer Affairs Dept of Law and Public Safety.
- Preference given to applicants that possess a Speech Language Pathologist License.
