Job Description
ExpediteRN is a nurse-owned and operated healthcare staffing agency. We specialize in placing top nursing talent with healthcare facilities. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging scans that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented patient-focused and knowledgeable in MRI safety and imaging protocols.

$3350 weekly pay!
13 Weeks 40 Hours Days
Start Date 09/02/25
Key Responsibilities:

Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders.

Verify patient identification and thoroughly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

Position patients correctly and ensure immobilization to obtain optimal images.

Administer IV contrast agents as required following safety and allergy protocols.

Monitor patients during procedures and recognize/respond to emergencies or adverse reactions.

Ensure accurate documentation and timely upload of images to PACS for radiologist interpretation.

Maintain MRI equipment perform basic troubleshooting and report issues as needed.

Follow all MRI safety regulations including screening patients and staff for contraindications.

Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare staff to ensure high-quality care.
Qualifications:
-
Associates or Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

ARRT (MR) certification required or ARRT (R) with MR registry eligibility.

State licensure (if applicable).

BLS certification (AHA or equivalent).

Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years or more MRI TECH experience - Required
- Current ARRT (MR) - Required
- Previous Travel - Preferred
- NH MIRT - Eligible for Temp license only if EQUIVALENT STATE LICENSE in hand!
- Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.
- Perm address must be included in profile
