Project Overview:
Join Supply Ontarios Enterprise Technology team as a Cloud Policy and Governance Specialist within the Corporate Applications portfolio. You will support critical systems including the Financial Management System (FMS) Human Capital Management System (HCMS) and the Supply Ontario Data Analytics Platform. This role is central to shaping policy frameworks and governance models that enable the adoption of secure compliant and efficient cloud solutions for procurement and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development: Create and maintain cloud governance policies standards and guidelines.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate data security privacy and compliance risks related to cloud services.
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct audits and ensure adherence to cloud governance and regulatory standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with IT security legal and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver cloud governance training programs for internal teams.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor trends and continuously enhance governance frameworks.
- Reporting: Prepare dashboards and reports for senior management to track governance and compliance metrics.
Required Qualifications:
Must-Have Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in:
- Cloud governance and compliance frameworks.
- Risk identification and mitigation in cloud environments.
- Aligning cloud strategies with enterprise goals.
- Proven strong English writing skills.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Specialty
- AWS Certified Security Specialty
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with cloud platforms: Azure AWS Google Cloud
- Understanding of frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 GDPR
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring and management tools
