Job Title: Senior SQL Database Developer (MySQL)
Location: Plano TX (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract 12 Months
Experience: 10 Years Required
About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Database Developer with strong hands-on experience in MySQL development. This is a developer role not a DBA position. You will be working on designing and optimizing complex database systems to support mission-critical business applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain stored procedures triggers and complex SQL scripts (MySQL).

Optimize database performance indexing and query tuning.

Support schema design data modeling and scalability improvements.

Collaborate with developers DevOps and analytics teams.

Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend improvements.

Ensure database security documentation and compliance.
Requirements:
-
10 years of experience in database development.

Strong expertise in MySQL (Oracle PL/SQL is a plus).

Experience with Azure MySQL and/or Cosmos DB (MongoDB API) is highly preferred.

Proficient in performance tuning query optimization and indexing.

Solid understanding of database design and best practices.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to Have:

Certifications in MySQL or MongoDB.

Experience in DevOps and CI/CD for databases.

Experience in cloud/hybrid environments.
