Job Description

1. Production Planning
-
Develop and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts inventory targets and product shelf-life.
-
Coordinate with R&D QA and manufacturing teams to plan and execute New Product Launches (NPD) and product modifications.
-
Optimize line capacities and batch planning to minimize changeover time and maximize throughput.
2. Inventory Management
-
Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials packaging materials WIP and finished goods.

Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry stock and initiate proactive actions to minimize obsolescence.

Work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely availability and dispatch of materials/products.
3. Supply Chain Coordination
-
Act as a liaison between production procurement quality and sales teams to align demand and supply.

Conduct periodic S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings and drive consensus on plans.

Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely procurement of critical components especially for seasonal product launches and promotional campaigns.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting

Use ERP/SAP systems to monitor real-time data on production and inventory.

Generate MIS reports and KPIs including OTIF (On-Time In-Full) forecast accuracy production adherence and inventory health.

Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in planning and control processes.
5. Compliance & Documentation
-
Ensure adherence to regulatory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards in all planning activities.

Maintain accurate records of BOMs MPS and planning parameters.
