Job Description
Akamai Remote Engine is a component used in Akamais security solutions particularly for API security and remote access. It allows for the analysis of API traffic and the protection of remote users all while maintaining a secure and efficient environment. Remote Engines can be deployed on self-hosted or managed Kubernetes clusters using a Kubernetes Operator enabling automation and updates.
The engineer is expected to be expert / hands on in deployment implementation and configuration of Remote Engine
