Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures ensuring comfort and safety. Screen patients for contraindications to MRI including implants devices and medical history. Administer contrast agents as required following proper protocols and safety guidelines. Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in the PACS/RIS systems. Ensure MRI equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions. Adhere to all safety infection control and privacy regulations (HIPAA). Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred but new graduates may be considered. Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI physics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Shift: Days 0800 - 1630; No guaranteed hours OT after 40 hours Weekends: No Holidays: No On-Call: No Required Education: Associates or Bachelors in Radiologic Technology or related field.
