Position: Mother Teacher (Pre-Primary Teacher)
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mother Teacher for a pre-primary institution in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a nurturing environment for young children and fostering a love for learning. This is an on-site position that requires excellent interpersonal skills creativity and a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of children.
- Develop an age-appropriate curriculum that encourages holistic growth and learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment promoting respect and kindness.
- Assess students progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain open communication with parents to update them on their childs development.
- Organize and oversee daily activities ensuring they are safe and beneficial.
- Encourage creativity through arts crafts and imaginative play.
- Use various teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Implement classroom rules and manage student behavior effectively.
- Engage children in play and recreational activities to promote social skills.
- Prepare and arrange the classroom environment and resources.
- Maintain student records and documentation of developmental milestones.
- Encourage parental involvement in classroom activities and school events.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Previous experience as a Mother Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a genuine love for working with children.
- Proficient in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Ability to assess and adapt to diverse learning needs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a classroom setting.
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with educational technologies is a plus.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
