Job Description
- Remotely access and configure new Cisco routers and switches using provided configurations making necessary adjustments for each device.
- Coordinate with local telecom technicians (smart hands) for physical installation ensuring correct rack stack and cabling.
- Schedule and track shipments and installations to branch sites ensuring timely rollout.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules balancing hands-on technical work with project management tasks Requirements:
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches ideally with 8200 routers and 9300 switches or similar.
- Strong skills in network configuration migration and remote device management.
- Ability to coordinate with remote teams and manage project timelines.
- No on-site presence required; all work can be performed remotely.
Network Engineer Remote 6 Months Client - BHE Rate: $60 Position Overview: Responsible for migrating configurations from existing network devices to new Cisco routers (8200 series) and switches (9300 series), coordinating device installation, and managing the rollout schedule for multiple branch locations, primarily in Iowa.
