Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student s unique needs
- Adapt general education lessons and teach various subjects (reading writing math etc.) to students with disabilities
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers aides specialists and families
- Assess students progress and use data to inform instruction and IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide ongoing communication with parents and guardians about student progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Special Education or related field (Master s preferred)
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)
- Prior experience teaching students with special needs preferred
- Strong classroom management communication and organizational skills
- Passion for inclusive education and individualized student success
