THE ROLE
To provide positive leadership that inspires motivates and manages the Fraser Group teams to deliver a stimulating and cohesive brand experience which supports the brand strategy.
You will work with the Head of Visual Merchandising and the visual merchandising team to maximise sales profit and customer experience through developing and managing visual merchandising principles resources and communications for store execution.
COMMUNICATION
- Strategically lead the planning development and implementation to drive elevation of all Visual Merchandising within Luxury based on the Frasers Group business objectives.
- Develop plan deliver and communicate solutions of visual concepts and strategies that promote the brand products and in windows with key stakeholders.
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience through visual merchandising principles to generate sales increase brand awareness and grow target consumer markets in line with business strategies.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with luxury brand partners including third-party visual merchandisers account managers and directors of brand ensuring alignment with shared goals brand identity and execution standards across all touchpoints
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing buying retail and operations teams to deliver cohesive brand campaigns and in-store experiences.
- Develop and manage visual merchandising instore POS and windows through the creation
- Manage creative briefs for internal team and oversee final approval of all visual communications for stores.
- Analyse sales and stock information including best sellers and key product lines to react to in-season trading patterns and product activity ensuring guidelines and decisions are commercially based.
- Plan organise and facilitate Area manager virtual store walk throughs and ensure Area manager/regional managers have top line information.
ELEVATION
- Establish and evolve visual merchandising standards for all product categories to ensure excellent clear and contemporary visual merchandising that excites customers and inspires them to buy.
- Collaborate regularly with the buying functions to understand and plan how the merchandise ranges are displayed and supported in store.
- Attendance at key store installs to lead and manage visual installation process.
- Continued review of Elevation within fascia creating new ideas to improve ways of working within merchandising that is relevant to the product and our business through conducting regular competitor visits and feeding back trends solutions and ideas to head of department.
- Organise support and deliver all visual merchandising elements in New Stores and re-fit projects in all geographies where required including:
- Brand Partner co-ordination & communication (Across both existing and new estate)
- Design internal stakeholder presentations and proposals (store reviews layout reviews)
- Working with the store development team to ensure the correct unitary is in stores and to feedback any merchandising issues that unitary creates.
OPERATION
- Partner with retail stakeholders to establish seasonal and local event calendars by geography.
- Partner with commercial functions to establish promotional and merchandise event calendars including organising and own seasonal planning meetings with the key functions and challenge commercial decisions where necessary.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create and develop in store point of sale to support and drive sales in all merchandise categories promotions and events.
- Deliver inspirational and market leading window display concepts that enhance the brand and increases retail footfall and sales.
- Travel to stores to review/audit execution of merchandising principles and campaign guidelines prior to visits.
- Design develop and evolve visual display elements that is relevant to the product sub brand and drives improved sales.
- Make effective decisions to maintain VM standards if merchandising cannot be actioned as per guidelines
- Responsible for all Luxury and Beauty merchandising guidelines and the visual look of department for all UK and EU stores
PEOPLE
- To partner with our L&D & HR functions to create training strategies that build capability in our Stores and support offices.
- Lead build inspire and develop a motivated positive and purposeful team dynamic within the Luxury Visual Team ensuring their continued training and development and growth within the business
- Optimise staff morale through effective communication and promote a positive work environment.
- Produce team and individual objectives annually that motivate people to optimum performance in line with business strategy.
- Monitor development and achievement of goals for the team by providing coaching and feedback to improve work performance.
- Motivated to drive own self development.
- Responsible for team workload and prioritizing and organising all VM projects escalating challenges to head of department.
Qualifications :
ESSENTIAL
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Visual Merchandising experience gained within the luxury fashion sector
- Experience of working with cross functional teams at all levels including Director both internally and externally to implement visual strategy

- Highly organised demonstrating strong skill set in planning and prioritisation.
- Excellent project management skills with experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communicator both verbally and in written form
- Relentless in approach to self-development ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment with the ability to deliver key objectives
- Proactive team player and builds positive working relationships across departments and with key stakeholders.
- Good awareness of commerciality retail standards visual merchandising and competitors.

- Ability to travel for store visits and oversee regional projects.

I.T SKILLS
- Essential Good knowledge of PowerPoint InDesign Excel
- Desirable Adobe Design packages database knowledge
