Ferguson is seeking expert Welders to fill immediate needs in our brand new semi-automatic fabrication shop. If you have pipe welding experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC industry this is the position for you!
Position Details
Location Onsite at Riviera Beach Fl
Schedule Monday Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with Occasional Over Time
Pay Currently starting at $25.20 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Novarc robotic welder training provided.
- Perform specialty welding tasks; hand welding of all fittings mechanical branch outlet nozzles threadolets pipe fitting fit-ups and tack and root welding.
- Inspect work for defects dimensions alignment end preparations and seam splits in pipe.
- Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to Fergusons standards of quality and performance.
- Reports all equipment malfunctions safety issues and required repairs.
- Assist in all aspects of the shop when not welding such as groove assemblies thread assemblies hanger assemblies etc.
Qualifications
- 3 years pipe welding / pipe fitting experience in either the commercial or industrial HVAC industry required. Graduate from technical college in pipe welding with minimum of 1 year field experience in pipe trades will also be considered.
- Stick electrode welding experience required.
- GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) experience preferred.
- TIG and MIG experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Attention to detail integrity and professionalism.
- The ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
