Job Description

As an Overnight Housekeeping Supervisor at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts you will lead and support the overnight housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness service and safety throughout the property. You will help foster a positive and collaborative work environment maintain guest satisfaction and ensure that guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces meet Fairmonts exceptional standards.

Job Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $26.87/hour
Start Date: August 2025

Job Duties Include:

  • Supervise and coordinate the overnight operations of the housekeeping team ensuring all rooms public areas and the thermal wellness facility are cleaned and serviced according to brand standards.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Train mentor and support new and existing housekeeping colleagues ensuring they are knowledgeable of cleaning procedures chemical use and safety protocols.
  • Monitor productivity attendance and performance of overnight staff providing feedback and coaching as needed.
  • Coordinate with the front desk engineering and other departments to manage special requests maintenance issues and room readiness.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of linens amenities and cleaning supplies; report discrepancies or reordering needs.
  • Complete nightly reports room status updates and shift handovers to ensure seamless communication with daytime leadership.

Qualifications :

Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment an asset
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook)
  • Familiarity with housekeeping management systems (e.g. Opera) an asset
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand walk and perform physical tasks for extended periods

You may be required to work on holidays weekends overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
