AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design planning delivery and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words were the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers storage networking power and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and were looking for talented people who want to help.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement team is looking for experienced professionals to help build the worlds premier cloud computing platform. We are looking for a candidate with engineering and manufacturing experience capable of operating in a fast paced ever changing environment. Our NPI team works closely with our engineering and deployment teams suppliers and data center operations to launch new products and manage transitions. They are also responsible for integrating across supply chain commodity managers to maintain continuity of supply while minimizing risk for excess and obsolete materials.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic supply chain roadmaps that transform service delivery productivity and quality
- Lead complex cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering supply chain and procurement teams
- Drive technical requirements gathering and strategic alignment with internal development teams
- Present data-driven business reviews to executive leadership on new product launches and transitions
- Architect scalable supply chain solutions for AWS infrastructure operations
- Identify gaps/opportunities in system architectures and workflows to satisfy customer requirements
- Bachelors degree
- 7 years of developing negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7 years of professional or military experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- MBA
- Deep expertise in cloud computing infrastructure and operations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
