Job Description
The Controller will lead all financial operations including accounting budgeting inventory control cost accounting and cash flow management for a manufacturing and retail organization. This role requires strong experience in manufacturing finance ERP systems and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting ensuring GAAP compliance and timely monthly/annual closings.
- Manage standard costing manufacturing variance analysis and inventory valuation (raw materials WIP finished goods).
- Lead budgeting forecasting and financial modeling to support strategic initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital; oversee AP/AR.
- Ensure ERP accuracy for production and financial data.
- Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred).
- 6 years of accounting experience including 2 in a leadership role.
- A background in manufacturing or retail is required.
- Strong skills in cost accounting ERP systems and financial modeling.
