We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Writer with expertise in DITA and information architecture to join our dynamic team. What You Can Expect
- Develop write and maintain high-quality technical documentation including user manuals installation guides and reference materials tailored for the semiconductor industry.
- Utilize DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture) to create modular and reusable content ensuring consistency and efficiency in documentation.
- Utilize information architecture strategies to enhance the usability and accessibility of technical documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers product managers and quality assurance to gather and understand technical information.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing documentation and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Participate in documentation projects from inception to completion ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in technical writing and information architecture.
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Technical Writing English Communications or a related field engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a technical writer in the semiconductor industry or a related high-tech field.
- Proven experience using DITA for content development and management.
- Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear concise and user-friendly manner.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in tools such as Oxygen XML or similar tools Adobe FrameMaker Visio git and component content management systems (CCMS).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience working in a semiconductor or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of the DITA Open Toolkit HTML CSS and other web technologies.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
74000 - 109450 $ per annumThe successful candidates starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills experience qualifications work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
