Job Title: Lead Software Engineer
Compensation: $116800 - $146000 Annual Salary
The base salary or hourly wage range for this role will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to prior experience relevant expertise current business needs and market factors. About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for designing developing implementing and maintaining robust solutions that connect various cloud-based software applications systems and platforms across our enterprise. You will ensure seamless data flow system interoperability and efficient business processes playing a critical part in our technological ecosystem. The environment is heavily reliant on Third Party Functional Applications and services with most development being focused on systems to systems integrations data integrations/management and business intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Design develop test deploy and maintain scalable and secure solutions between disparate internal and external systems.
  • Implement and manage APIs (RESTful SOAP) middleware platforms (e.g. ESBs iPaaS) and data transformation tools to facilitate data exchange.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams project managers business analysts and third-party vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines ensuring data integrity consistency and accuracy across integrated systems.
  • Troubleshoot debug and resolve complex issues in development testing and production environments identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
  • Monitor the performance and health of solutions optimizing for efficiency reliability and scalability.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for integration designs processes and configurations.
  • Lead and own selection of dev and integration tools and technologies inclusive of AI offerings (e.g. Claude)
  • Stay current with emerging integration technologies patterns and industry best practices.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on system integration.
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Java Python C#).
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with API design (RESTful SOAP) and consumption.
  • Experience with various data formats (e.g. JSON XML CSV) and data transformation techniques.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns (e.g. point-to-point hub-and-spoke message queues).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL BigQuery) and data querying.
  • Solid problem-solving analytical and debugging skills particularly for distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).


Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with specific integration platforms or middleware (e.g. Dell Boomi Google Cloud Integration).
  • Knowledge of message queuing or event streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka RabbitMQ SQS Pub/Sub).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud Platform Azure) and their integration services.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with sensitive data.
