Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science technical field or equivalent experience.
- Strong hands-on experience of 2-8 years in developing software tests for functional and regression testing including automated and ad-hoc testing elements.
- Practical knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Automation Life Cycle.
- Must have strong grip on different automation frameworks.
- Must have strong grip of BDD and Cucumber/gherkin.
- Create automation test plans maintain documentation and perform testing on multiple devices platforms and browsers.
- Provide input into improving the Automation test framework for the organization.
- Good skills in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
- Engage with the development team to resolve identified defects.
- Familiarity with a programming language preferably in Java groovy.
- Background working with Git Bitbucket SVN Jenkins or similar tools.
Responsibilities:
- To work on BDD model.
- Develop and review feature files in gherkin and automation them.
- Develops automated test scripts for new features of n-1 sprint.
- Develop automated scripts of all regression flows.
- Maintain the whole automation script.
- Report and update defects verify defect fixes using the JIRA defect tracking tool.
- Must be able to work as manual tester in certain circumstances.
- Execute automated flows on different server like local QA UAT PROD.
