About The Forest at Duke
For over 30 years The Forest at Dukes team has provided a caring responsible community that fosters the independence of residents of retirement age by enhancing their capability to lead purposeful active healthy and secure lives.
As a Security Officer and a Forest Team Member youllsupport this mission by providing necessary security measures for a safe environment for those who both live and work at The Forest at Duke.
Openings:
- Evening Shift (2 7 days/week)
- Night Shift (2 7 days/week)
What were looking for in our next Team Member
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must hold and maintain a valid NC Drivers license (must be able to drive community vehicles).
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days post hire).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to write clear concise and thorough reports including daily activity and incident logs.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work exterior posts in inclement weather.
- Ability to respond to emergency calls from residents vendors team members and follow department procedures to properly handle the situation.
- Basic typing skills & computer knowledge.
- Must be able to read write and communicate orally in English.
- Must be able to maintain positive and professional relationships and interactions with residents guests vendors contractors and staff.
