Essential Job Functions:
- Follows procedures to process death claim transactions by corresponding with agents beneficiaries and other departments regarding policies
- Willingness to learn new payment processes and/or other processes within death claims depending on where the need is on any given day
- Responsible for the accurate handling and timely execution of any policy worked
- Ensure transactions are processed on our administrative systems accurately and in a timeframe considered suitable by MetLife guidelines
- Report any potential fraudulent money laundering or unethical requests that have been reviewed
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required daily
- Must provide an elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls made internally or externally
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customers experience
Mandatory Qualifications:
- High School Diploma completed
- 2 years of relevant life insurance death claims business experience
- Claims processing experience
- Working knowledge of life insurance products and applicable policies procedures and guidelines
- Microsoft Office and MS Teams work experience
- Great typing and documenting skills
- Empathy sensibility and high sense or touch are necessary for the type of support we provide to our customers
- Inbound/outbound customer service experience and communication skills are required
- Great ability to multitask between clients applications and DXC systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
- FINRA Series 6 is preferred
- Insurance call center experience is highly preferred (this position is not a call center)
Work Environment:
- Remote Laptop Docking Station Monitors Headset will be provided
- Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am to 4pm EST would be preferred
- This position is fully remote within the United States only
