A key leadership position responsible for defining and delivering world-class revenue cycle operations and patient financial experience. This role leads practice revenue cycle activities while managing teams developing strategy for improved outcomes and efficiency and partnering across departments to ensure compliant and effective revenue collection.
The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on with proven ability to drive results develop teams and improve processes while maintaining focus on exceptional patient/member experience.
Key job responsibilities Revenue Cycle Operations: Manage daily revenue cycle operations from charge entry through final resolution Develop strategies to reduce bad debt and ensure revenue integrity Monitor and meet operational performance targets Drive strategic initiatives and process improvements using technology and AI. Act as Revenue Cycle SME and liaison across stakeholders
Team Leadership: Manage and develop team of managers and staff Create high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement Drive team engagement and professional development Foster environment of service excellence and teamwork Provide coaching and clear expectations
Strategic Partnership: Partner with Finance Clinical Operations and Payer Contracting teams Collaborate on workflow tools protocols and education plans Work with external partners on revenue cycle strategy Lead product innovation initiatives to drive improvements in efficiency and effectiveness with technology teams Support cross-functional problem solving
- 7 years Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience - 3 years managing Revenue Cycle teams - Strong knowledge of payer requirements and billing compliance - Experience with large-scale revenue operations ($150M annual revenue) - Advanced data analysis and Excel skills - Bachelors degree required
- MBA preferred - CHFP certification preferred
