Job Description
Duxbury High School is seeking an advisor for the following co-curricular positions for the 2025-2026 school year:
Student Council Advisors (2 positions)
TheStudent Council Advisorworks collaboratively to promote change within our school community and world and to foster spirit and unity among the DHS community.Activities includemeeting every other week and organizing events for the school such as Spirit Week Homecoming Polar Plunge Spring Fling and fundraisers. This is a full year position and requires bi-weekly meetings.
DuxBuds Advisor:
DuxBudsis a high school club dedicated to fostering friendships between students with and without intellectual mission isto create meaningful connections and provide support through various activities and initiatives.For exampleevents include bowling movie outings game nights and an annual talent show and semi-formal dance. This is a full-year position and requires monthly meetings.
Latin National Honor Society:
National Latin Honor Societyis a special designation awarded to Advanced Placement Latin students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and citizenship in their Latin class. Latin Honor Society students are asked to dedicate a certain number of hours to supporting Duxburys Latin program by actively participating in community outreach. This is a full-year position and requires monthly meetings.
