Job Description
Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is looking for a Clinical Nurse to join the Perioperative Unit on a full-time maximum term (12 months) basis.
Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is an acute care hospital specialising in a broad range of 59-bed facility features three operating theatres with more than 4400 procedures completed annually.
Salary Range: $54.44 - $58.30 hour plus 12% superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
As a Clinical Nurse youll play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality patient-centred care. You will use your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to support patients guide nursing teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice and positive health outcomes. Youll contribute to clinical education mentor junior staff and lead by example in maintaining professional standards and improving service delivery.
About you
You will enjoy working in a busy and rewarding environment where you can become part of a team of professionals who take pride in providing the highest levels of patient care.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Minimum 5 years perioperative nursing experience.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions
- Excellent interpersonal communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
