Primary Purpose:Responsible for the developmentand oversight of resident activities and other services.This includes planningand coordinating of opportunitiesfor residents and other projectsthat support the whole-person whole-communityand promotes a levelof health well-beingengagement and growth while fostering and supporting a cultureof service to our residents.
Qualifications/Skills Needed: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelorsdegree preferred. 3 years experienceproviding administrative support and/or coordinating activities in seniorliving or similar environment. Background check and drug screen.

Primary Duties (Essential Functions):
Activities Duties
Maintain the high standardof resident relations and cultureof service to our residents in all areas ofresponsibility relevant to this position.
Plansschedules and conducts lifestyle programs that provide physicalintellectual social emotional and spiritual opportunities for the residents.
Prepares and organizes weekly and monthly event calendars. Submitsthe calendar to the Operations Manager for final approval; distributes calendar physically and electronically.
Coordinatesthe ongoing implementation of wellnessprograms by working closely with the Meadow and MiraleaLifestyle Supervisors.
Attendsadditional training/licensure workshopsfor professional development. Communicates and develops programs in conjunction with various MHKY staff for campus-wideresidents.
Accompanies residents on community outings duringbusiness hours eveningsand weekends.
Coordinatestransportation for community outingsvia company vehicle(s) including 12-passenger van.
Addressesresident groups and other groups on subjects of common interest.
Develops and implements additional resources for services to the residents.
Initiates correspondence includingpublic relations communications with outside organizations service groups and volunteers.
Meets routinely with Operations Manager to reviewoperational issues set goals andprovide updates on individual residentparticipation. Maintains a databaseand prepares reports on resident participation and satisfaction.
Attends all community-planned functions and coordinates event from beginningto end including setup running andbreaking down for the event.
Coordinates tasks and overseesstaff committees for holiday and special events (Fall FestivalHoliday/New Years Party Health Fair Active Aging Week etc.)
Plans appropriate programsand decorations for holidaysand special events.Maintains and stocks mediaroom and coordinates schedule for resident use of common space at Village.
Purchases and maintains equipment and supplies in accordance with budgetary guidelines.
Administrative Duties:
Assist the team by fielding incoming calls to Villageoffice phones answer questions or forward to appropriate staff (Operationsor Marketing).
Greet walk in visitorsand engage with them to determine appropriate hand off (Marketing or Village Operations) In keeping with our culture of service to residentsand visitors act as concierge forwalk-ins calling residents and familymembers.
Enter Work Order issues into our maintenanceapplication.
Arrange and manage residentactivity notices; maintaincalendar and send to residents
Send out notification flyers building related memos etc. for on-campus mail to deliver
Assist residents with transportation scheduling.
Manages Lifestyle Operating Budget.Meets with Operations Managerroutinely to review.
Assist residents with Uniguest set up and maintenance
