Job Summary:
The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for preventing theft fraud and other incidents that could result in financial loss for the company. They monitor store activities enforce security policies and assist in maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor store premises through surveillance cameras and physical patrols.
- Identify suspicious behaviors or activities and respond appropriately.
- Conduct investigations related to theft or policy violations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Educate staff on security policies and procedures.
- Maintain detailed reports of incidents and investigations.
- Assist customers and staff in a courteous manner to prevent theft and ensure safety.
- Enforce store policies and procedures consistently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may prefer additional education or experience.
- Prior experience in security law enforcement or loss prevention preferred.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and surveillance tasks.
- Knowledge of security systems and surveillance equipment.
Salary & Benefits:
- Minimum Salary: $30000
- Maximum Salary: $50000
- Contract Details: Full-time
