The Department of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery is seeking a Otolaryngology-head and neck surgeon with expertise in head and neck oncologic surgery and microvascular reconstruction to join our growing faculty. They will join the academic practice in the Department of Otolaryngology-HNS at our NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center at Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC) and Temple University Hospital (TUH). The ideal candidate will have the skill set needed to support and further develop a rapidly expanding head and neck practice across the health system. The candidate should have an interest in head and neck oncology microvascular surgery and transoral robotic surgery (TORS).
Qualified candidates must possess a strong commitment to resident education clinical medicine and research as it carries an academic appointment to the School of Medicine. The candidates must also be able to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
The successful candidate will join an exceptional otolaryngology department of 11 faculty which is steeped in history dating back to the early 1900s when Dr. Chevalier Jackson emerged as the father of endoscopy pioneering the field of laryngology to include foreign body removal. This innovative spirit dedication to clinical excellence commitment to teaching and pursuit of knowledge continues in the Department today. Our faculty spans the entire depth and breadth of the field to include head and neck surgery laryngology otology neurotology skull base surgery rhinology allergy sleep medicine facial plastics & reconstructive surgery as well as pediatric otolaryngology. Together Temple Otolaryngology provides personalized compassionate and innovative multi-disciplinary care to patients and their families.
