Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent full-time Sales Account Coordinator to join our Commercial & Sales department.

This exciting role puts you at the heart of our non-race day events where youll facilitate seamless coordination and deliver exceptional customer service to everyone who visits our venues. As a key member of the team youll help drive business growth and foster strong customer loyalty all within a dynamic and vibrant environment.

As well as running elite horse racing at Caulfield Sportsbet Sandown and Mornington Racecourses we own 15 pub venues under the Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG).

What will your responsibilities be

  • Coordinate all event requirements on behalf of clients including but not limited to food and beverage arrangements event services and ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
  • Event planning and delivery.
  • Manage contractors across key services including audio-visual cleaning furniture setup car parking and security.
  • Ensure a high level of detail in floor plans event orders work orders and all related event documentation.
  • Manage calendar of internal events.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of venues ensuring facilities and signage are set to the highest standard for every event.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in customer service and event coordination within a fast-paced high-volume environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in event and/or venue management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
  • Previous client management experience.
  • Great time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a passion for precision and accuracy.
  • Excels in pressurised environments and works well to deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with and manage stakeholders
  • Experience with Ungerboeck event software (Desirable).
