Job Description
Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer Java React AWS
Location: Toronto Canada (Remote)
Experience: 8 Years
Pay Range: CAD $70-75 Hourly
Role Summary: We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on our clients project focused on building scalable cloud-native web applications using modern Java React and AWS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Join a collaborative Scrum team and contribute to daily agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
- Review peer code and share feedback to maintain high code quality.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify and fix product bugs.
- Build and maintain REST APIs using a microservices architecture.
- Develop intuitive frontend features using the React framework.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience building applications with Java TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of microservices and REST API development.
- Confident working with React on frontend projects.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native app design.
- Familiar with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Background in agile development teams (Scrum preferred).
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Masters degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Bonus if youve worked on distributed system architecture.
Certifications
- AWS certification is a plus.
