Job Description

Job Summary:

This role is for a Cath Lab Technologist responsible for providing imaging support in a cardiovascular setting. The position requires scrub experience in cardiovascular or electrophysiology procedures and may involve floating between units. The technologist will utilize fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to assist physicians during procedures.
Location: Portland Oregon United States
Responsibilities:
- Performing imaging procedures in the Cath Lab including fluoroscopy.
- Assisting physicians during cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures.
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures.
- Maintaining a sterile field during procedures.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Documenting procedures and patient information.
- Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Radiology Technologist license (ARRT). Willingness to obtain an Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license if not already held.
- Scrub experience in cardiovascular or electrophysiology (CVL or EP) procedures.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

- None specified.
Special Considerations:
- No on-call weekend or block scheduling requirements.
- Patient ratios are 3:1.
- No 48-hour shifts approved.
- Position may involve floating between units.
