Keene NH Needs Travel Radiation Therapist - Oncology
$3800 weekly pay!
13 Weeks 40 Hours Days
Start Date: 08/18/2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment.
- Accurately interpret and follow treatment plans developed by radiation oncologists and medical physicists.
- Position patients correctly and ensure they are comfortable and informed throughout the treatment process.
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Monitor patients during treatment for adverse reactions or complications and report concerns to the medical team.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records including treatment sessions and progress.
- Educate patients and their families about the radiation therapy process potential side effects and aftercare.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols and radiation protection standards.
- Collaborate with oncologists nurses and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years current Radiation Therapy experience - Required
- Oncology experience - Required
- VARIAN TRUEBEAM experience - REQUIRED
- ARIA (Treatment Record and Management) EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED
- Previous travel experience - Highly Preferred
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
- NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
- New Hampshire
- Compact Allowed
Additional License Requirements
- NH MIRT or Temp Equivalent State License REQUIRED IN HAND
