- Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday at 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Renton WA Time
Partner with a successful food wholesale company that has built a strong foundation serving grocery stores throughout the Pacific Northwest. This growing business is ready to expand beyond their local market and tap into new opportunities nationwide. They have established relationships with small grocery stores and understand the industry well but they re looking to scale their operations and reach new customers who need reliable food and grocery suppliers. You ll play a crucial role in their growth strategy helping them identify and connect with potential clients across new markets.
This is a dynamic lead generation role where you ll help expand a thriving wholesale food business into new markets and customer segments. You ll be responsible for identifying grocery stores small retailers and other potential clients who could benefit from the company s quality food and grocery supplies. This position offers the opportunity to work with an established business that s ready to scale using your research and outreach skills to build their customer base beyond their current local market. You ll be instrumental in driving their expansion strategy and helping them achieve their growth goals through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential grocery stores and retail clients who need wholesale food suppliers
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to connect with decision-makers at target businesses
- Generate qualified leads through strategic prospecting and market research
- Build and maintain comprehensive prospect databases for ongoing outreach
- Develop marketing outreach strategies to generate interest in the company s products
- Qualify prospects and assess their potential as wholesale or retail customers
- Track and report on lead generation activities and conversion metrics
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B lead generation and prospecting preferably in food/retail industries
- Strong communication and phone skills for professional outbound calling
- Ability to research and identify potential customers in the grocery and food retail space
- Understanding of wholesale and retail business models and buying processes
- Experience building prospect lists and managing lead generation databases
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet lead generation targets
- Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking tools
