Job Title: Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Engineer

Job Type:ContractResponsibilities:- Review and approve technical information drawings specifications procedures prepared by contractors of the umbilical system and relevant ancillary equipment ensuring that it meets the project objectives industry standards and best practices for safety and reliability.
- Support the project management team during the execution phase in the engineering detail design manufacturing and testing of the umbilical system
- Interface with subsea control system design
- Monitor contractor performance
- Ensure consistency quality and cost effectiveness of the project design of the umbilical system
- Ensure delivery of the umbilical system in line with project objectives requirements and technical interfaces
- Ensure exchange of interface information with all involved parties
- Select best technical/economical solutions for the umbilical system ensuring overall technical integrity
- Offshore assistance during umbilical installation and pre commissioning
- Follow up detail engineering performed by contractor
- Review comment and approve contractor technical documentation concerning the umbilical system and ancillary equipment.
- Ensure implementation of established procedures applicable codes company standards and contract specifications
- Perform systematic expediting activities
- Assist in the resolution of technical interfaces with other work packages
- Resolve ongoing technical issues concerning all technical aspects of the work package
- Monitor and report technical progress
- During manufacturing and testing perform daily site inspection and witnessing of testing activities in accordance to approve ITP
- Support to offshore installation commissioning and production start up
- Attend design reviews and monitor contractor engineering plan
- Attend HAZID and SIMOPS workshops
- Offshore assistance during umbilical installation and pre-commissioning activities aboard installation vessels.
